1. you should put notices in there mail box charge about $10 an hour(i know it sounds scabby just take your time) go to there door and ask "do u want me to mo the lawn for $10" give them a notice acase they change there mind. TIPS: ask the Lady's mo the lawn in straight lines
2. DO NOT put the notices in their mail boxes. It is illegal to do so. Unless you're mailing them out, you can't actually open another person's mailbox. Tampering with mail in anyway is a federal offense. However, you could tape them to the mail box posts if you wanted to go that route. When you are going door to door, you should make sure you look like a decent kid. If you show up looking too much like a delinquent, chances are they aren't going to have you on their property to do their yard. As for price, you really should do it on a case by case basis. Negotiate with each client before the job is done. Ask them what they are willing to pay and if you are okay with that price, take the job.
