Is Quick Lawn grass seed safe for animals?

I'm worried it's an engineered seed and it could hurt my horses or dogs does anyone know?

1. Are you asking the product "quick lawn" that they advertise on TV ? Yes it is safe . Its not an engineered product but it is a created product. Its just grass seed and a organic mulch. So you have nothing to worry about. But its very expensive and a waste of money. To save money just buy some grass seed and when you sow it take some lawn clippings or peat moss and broadcast over the new seed and that will do the same thing as the expensive stuff. You need to keep any new seed moist untill it germinates. If you sow some rye seed it may germinate within three days. Fescues will germinate in seven days. Good luck to you and save some money and just buy some seed.
