do i need a license in florida to mow lawns?

I have been mowing lawns in cities close to my residence. Does the state of florida require me to have a license?

1. doesnt take a rocket scientist to mow lawns.no offense.now if they require you to be certified and insured thats another story
2. Florida's very strict in regard to licensing but lawn mowing is one field that still seems to be wide open to anyone who has a mower. My neighbor resorted to mowing lawns to supplement his income after having his pay cut and work hours cut (he's not a licensed contractor and not worried about it). If you want to build a lawn mowing business, you would likely need a license eventually. Good luck.
