What is a fair price for lawn mowing?

I live in half of a house. We are responsible for mowing the lawn. My neighbor told me she doesn't want to mow this year. What would be a fair price to charge her for doing all the mowing? I'm not looking forward to doing all the yardwork either. I also weed, trim hedges and plant and mulch the flower beds. Our back yard is about 180ft x 60ft plus around the front and sides of house.

1. see how long it takes you to complete and give yourself say...$9-$11 an hour. thensee how often you do it, whether its bi-monthly, tri..once a month, etc.
2. I pay my yard keeper $25 per hour for basic mowing & weed eating. He also does a great job bagging the grass clippings. Maybe you could charge her $10/ hr since half of it is yours.
3. just do all of it yourself dont worry about what they want to do once you realize your giving just a little more than what you think you should you will be surprized what you learn
