How To Advertise Local Teen Lawn Mowing Business?

I currently have 2 fliers typed up, and I plan on advertising my lawn mowing business. There are two options; first one is top simply put the fliers on a mail box that has 10-20 mailboxes for a part of the street, and some streets can have 3-5. Or second is do that and put it on their door? Kinda stuck right now?

1. Put the fliers in the mail boxes, people may not like you coming to their door, plus you can hit more houses by using the box since you don't have to waste time walking up to the house, and if you use a bike you can cover a lot of area in a short time
2. Actually it is illegal to put fliers in peoples' mail boxes. I would recommend placing them at peoples' doors or stapling them on telephone poles. Good luck!
