kentucky blue grass seed looks small?

just put down some kentucky blue grass , its very small and green in color like died green and will it come up its been 4 days ,nothing yet? if the KY blue grass is also known as tard/whats this mean

1. KY blue grass is also known as tard. For those of us that grow it. It may take a bit for it to establish itself, but when it does..... look out . B Grass is very similar to crab grass. So be aware. When B grass becomes dominant, it will over grow without competition. K B grass may be a dominent species, but a good soft 14-10 can out grow it.
2. grass will take a little longer that 4 days to sprout. the stuff that i have used in the past took about a week or two to get going. be patient and water it well. i do not know what the tard part means though.
