Tips for starting a lawn mowing business?

Does anyone have any good tips for me (15 yrs old) for starting a lawn mowing business for some extra cash? Would you suggest getting a business partner? Who should i target as customers?

1. you need to make some fliers and hang them up around town, grocery stores,laundromats, anywhere anyone will allow you to hang one... consider running an ad in the paper i think that you will probably need some help, try someone who can either weed eat and push mow while you ride or let them ride and you push and weed eat you might start with your own yard, spiff it up, trim it up, make it look really good, people will notice your good work i would let the customers seek me out, but, you could try the elderly or relatives, just anyone to get your business going once you have some jobs lined up, do the easy ones first, the ones with as little time to spend as possible make sure you weed eat and trim it all up nicely make sure you understand what they are expecting and where there are 'flaws' in the yard so as not to tear your equipment up by running into holes or over rocks, etc make sure you can do the job before you start and when you start, make sure you finish the job do all jobs possible and do them well you will satisfy people if you know what they want and do it well. word of mouth is the best advertisement
