  1. i would do both...remove it from the pot...stand it in water overnight then repot.xx
  2. Depending on how much fertilizer you added, you may have burned the plant. In this case, flush the soil with water several times. Then, add back in acidic fertilizer in half strength once a week until you see results. You can reduce the frequency then. Most fertilizers recommend a much too concentrated amount for most plants-you get quick results but the plant will be less hardy and likely to survive later.
  3. The tomato fertilizer shouldn't hurt it. Just use the correct, acid, fertilizer next time.
  4. put the pot in the sink. turn on the water let the water fill bottom up through the drain holes . when the water breaks through the surface ,let it sit a few minuets till thoroughly soaked and pull the plug let it drain thoroughly. that should be enough. it should rinse te excess fertilizer out . but the damage might be done .so cross your fingers. don't add anymore fertilizer till plant recovers.
  5. the tomato fertiliser wont harm your camellia you can repot your camellia in Ericaceous compost, leaves turning yellow means your camellia needs some sequestered iron you can buy this from any garden centre.
  6. re pot with an ericacious compost,(lime free) and get a proper ericacious feed not the tomato feed.Even the water could be alkaline if you live in a chalky area.this should help but one other check you must do is look at the roots to see if they are healthy just in case the have rotted with overwatering. This would turn the leaves yellow.
