Is the constant feeding fertilizer good for marijuana plants?

I have a little bit of fertilizer that I was going to mix into the soil. The problem is it feeds for three months and I thought that might screw the plants if they get fed well for three months then lose the nutrients. Will I be ok?

  1. Depletion of the fertilizer doesn't hurt the plants. But if you could get out there and redress the soil the plants would really benefit. Ideally use a complete fert. higher in nitrogen for the first part of growth and switch to a blend with more phosphorus and potassium during flowering.
