The Grass Doctor

Cats eating wildflowers?

I live in AZ and was thinking about throwing down some wildflower seeds in the backyard. I've tried to grow grass back there before but as soon as it sprouts, my cat eats it. So I am concerned, if I try to grow wildflowers and he eats them, will it hurt him?

  1. jus dont get behind em cuz theyll get sum..really awful gas and it stinks.....jk jk...i dont think they eat em and if they do it doesnt hurt em...
  2. I actually just watched a video clip not too long ago - where a doctor stated that cats and dogs are very sensitive to plants and some plants can even cause DEATH. I'm not really too sure if wildflowers were on the list but I would look more in to it if I were you.
  3. i don't know about wildflowers but Lily's (the flower) kills cats if they eat them, so NO Lilly's and have you heard of cat grass? if you look on ebay they sell cat grass seeds, looks like nice grass or there is cat nip or this other tree cats love. look em up!!
  4. cats can eat grass and wildflowers. Its OK, but watch carefully what he/she eats.If you notice he/ she is not feeling well afterwards, you can give her water if she will drink it. But it dpends on how you have taken care of it. Best to call the vet and ask them
