Cats/and what type of grass can they eat?

I know you can grow wheat grass or lemon grass for cats to enjoy. But when if you grow grass from bird seed? or better yet, wild bird seed...would that be safe for a cat to munch on? and please don't replay with buy pet grass from a pet store...I already know that I can do that. I want to know if the grass from wild bird seed with be ok for them to eat?
