If you have a small lawn care business which includes a truck, tools, ...can you get food stamps?

especially if you are just single, no children, recently had to move out of home, dont have much money and your "assets" include an old truck that is used for pulling a small trailer and tools. will the interviewer allow you food stamps? how much rougly each month? and do they care that you say you are self employed still but dont have a place to stay as of now but looking? will they make you work a job still and do training program? please explain.
