What type of fertilizer do you put on seedlings?

I have seeds planted in egg cartons in my house. They germinated and are about 1/4- 1 1/2 inches tall. They are Lettuce and African Daisies. I read about using half strength fertilizer, but what brand and type?

1. Use a light rate of a complete fertilizer. One high in phosphorous such as 12-18-12 or similar (the phosphorous is the middle number) will help the plants root growth and get established quicker.
2. That young they burn very easy I (my wife) took out our whole herb garden with a small amount of fertilizer .So definitely get a pro's opine on this.Good Luck
3. Miracle grow heavily diluted works well.
4. use it at 1/4 strength. They are just seedlings for pete's sake.
