Which Type of Scotts Fertilizer should i use?

I need to know which type of Scotts fertilizer should i begin with. my lawn is very random, it has some green patches and some bald spots. im just wondering which bag i should start with and which type i should be using in the future?

1. Save your money and buy some regular ole 13-13-13 fertilize , it does just as well as the high dollar stuff.
2. just be sure to avoid using step one if you intend to put any new grass seed down. the crabgrass preventer can also prevent your new seed from germinating.
