Is it safe To Plant these Grass Seeds?

I was going to plant grass seeds today but starting tonight its supposed to rain 4-5 days in a row! Will they drown?

1. They won't drown, but if it rains hard enough it can wash them away. If the seeds were raked in they'd be more resistant to that.
2. No they won't drown, rain can be beneficial, but if you can't pack them down with a lawn roller or tamper heavy rain will cause them to be scattered and you will end up with a patchy lawn. If you are expecting normal or light rain go ahead and sow them.
