Is fire ant bait better for a busy lawn (pets, kids, wildlife that doesn't bite us) than regular poison.?
My dad had always used bait and it seemed to only kill the fire ants. Even native species of ants were living okay. I just got put in charge of taking care of the lawn now that we are out of an apartment. I want to know if there are benefits and what brand to use.

- A chick not afraid of spiders.
- yes, because it (amdro) is not a poison but a bait that kills only the queen
- Fire ant bait only kills the fire ants. It won't kill any other insects or other types of ants. Top Choice and Award are 2 excellent products I've used for years on my golf course.
