What is the best way to get customers for a Lawn Care Startup?
I want to startup a lawn care company, how can i get clients?

- There is no one best way. If you want to succeed you will have to pursue several avenues. 1. Advertise in the local newspaper and any free papers in your town. 2. If there are coupon mail outs for your area use them to make offers to prospective customers. For example, for new prospects you will cut their lawn at no charge the first time. (You can then use the time spent to determine how much you are going to charge them in the future.) 3. Print up some flyers and hang them on the doors of prospective customers (don't use their mailboxes since it is against the law to do so). 4. Make up some flyers with tear off strips with your name and phone number and a sales pitch for your services. Put them up on every bulletin board you can find in local stores, churches, etc. 5. See if you can arrange tie ins with local civic clubs where you let them auction off a lawn cutting where they -- not you -- get the money. 6. Run a contest for local homeowners with the prize being a free lawn cutting. 7, Offer your customers a 20% discount for one year for every customer they send you.
