3. It depends on what kind of grass you planted. Bluegrass grows faster than bermuda or buffalo. Some take a week, others three weeks. Keep the soil warm and moist throughout the growing period. Keep those pesky birds off the grass as they love those little seeds. You can even try placing a small amount of straw over the grass to keep birds off.
