Which year or period does the US expect baby boomers to begin retiring and how will this affect the economy?

do you think they will be speding more for services or not? (such as lawn care) why and how so? Thanks for your answers!

1. What is speding? if you mean SPENDING then i'm not really sure. But if its for crap like lawn care then I say stick those people in a home because thats a waste of fricken money.
2. Baby Boomers a.k.a. "kid cannons" have been around for ages. They will never go out of style, because dead babies are hilarious...especially if it is due to some form of congenital disease. So, in short, they will never retire.
3. 2015-2020... It can have a very big impact on us citzens. There will be more people receiving money than giving which will cause a big caos in the country. Imagine what would happened if many people like paid their social security their entire life and when we retire by the year of 2050 and all my money desaperred, there would sure have a revolution. 4. The leading edge of baby boomers is has already begun to retire -- they're 62 - 63 years old. They'll spend more on health care and diapers.
