If a begger came to your door wanting food and a blanket and ask if they could sleep in your garden?
Would you feed them and let them sleep on your lawn if you have one?

- I might give them a little somthin to eat, but i wouldnt allow them to sleep in my lawn.
- no id tell him where the job center was...tell him its time to start trying to get on the housing list... id give him a bag of crisps and send him on his way
- I'd give them food and a blanket. Not trusting enough to let them sleep anywhere on my property though.
- if they are gonna sleep in my garden, the food is plentiful there
- yea of course, why not. if it was a girl begger she can have the sofa
- sure. but i would also get them some job interveiws :) i would never be lonely :)
- I would feed them and probably let them sleep in my garden with the door LOCKED! lol =)
- Yes. I would offer them the chaise lounge, a pillow, and blanket. And of course food and water.
- I'd give them some money and ask them to go elsewhere.
- If he wasnt armed ...sure I have a big yard.
- there but for the grace of God go i- but he could feck off and sleep somewhere else
- I'd feed them and probably let them sleep in my living room.. (depending on who they were) how could I let someone sleep outside in the cold? Unless it was the perfect weather for sleeping under the stars.
- i have let them, they were no bother
- i think id raid the fridge of all the out of date junk i keep, and then point to my neighbours lawn and say "kip there u get better shelter from the wind"
- I would say come in and have a meal and you can sleep in the next ward ,far to cold to sleep on the lawn
- i would fetch the gun
- i dont have a garden but id give them some food and some money.
- No.
- if i was still at work then yes - but right now i'd show him where the nearest jobcentre was we have a woman in our road that constantly begs door to dor for milk/sugar etc funny thing is, she always seems to find cash for fags!
- Probably not, because I don't usually answer the door when people come knocking.
- Food and blanket - Yes Sleep on my lawn - no
- No way man. I live in a bad neigborhood
- I would give them food, a shower, a safe place indoors to sleep, and any refferals I could find to help them out further.
- I'd give them food, a hot bath, wash their clothes and offer them a bed for the night as long as they were not a beggar as a result of being a drug addict.
- depends on the mood at that time.
- Why would it have to be a beggar?? Possibly it is someone in need! You never know what battles one is fighting within!
- Id give them food... But I wouldnt let them sleep in my garden.
- ya i would, and he could stay a long as he wanted, just remember one wrong turn in life and it could be you
- no way. what if he robs me on that trust
- No sorry I wouldn't !! I'd give them something to eat out though :-)
- That would never happen where I live. Frauds over here use more subtle strategies.
- Would maybe give them food but be afraid let them in but would try get them a hostel to sleep in or something........
- I would definitely bring he/she in if my husband or adult son was home... share food, give a blanket and ring a local shelter who could supply them with a bed. I have done this before... I was taught to always help others in need and find it hard to say no. If I was alone, I would talk to them through my security door, and ask them to wait till the manager of the local shelter came and if they stayed, give yet another donation of food, clothing and food to the shelter to help that person and others.
- i've very soft heart especially to those opran or old man,so i think i can give them food its depend how worst they situation to decide if they can use my property
