Do you know which garden stores you can buy buffalo grass SEED from?

preferably in Victoria

1. why-buffalo grass grows on very poor ground,and is hard to get rid of after it starts to grow
2. I don't believe that you can get buffalo grass seed. In the searches I did, it is only available as sod in AU. Granted, I didn't search beyond the first page, but the info I found was all about caring for newly laid sod. Here in the US, buffalo grass, (different species) is available as sod or plugs. But it is really expensive. Your best bet is to call your local nurseries and ask a professional if seed is available. They would know if anyone does.
3. I agree with the first post that it is invasive. But its not as invasive as bermuda. Buffalo grass is considered a native grass so check with your local agricultural extension service or your local native plant society. If when you said Victoria, you meant Australia.
