I'have got a 7-8 year old mango plant which grows well but hasnt flowered?

Then i went in for hybrid fruit bearing plants9i have seen them in the nursery with the fruit hanging on them) and when i transplanted the fruits fell off and never flowered or fruited ever since, i tried urea and n-p-k . Will somebody help? well, somebody give me the right method of applying these fertilizers also.I live in India, can it be done here too? thanx

1. It is probably in the wrong location or does not get the proper light it needs. Have you tried to look up info on Mango trees?

3. Mangoes need full sun to bear fruit and not much water. Urea is not the best fert, it causes the tree to grow only and not produce flowers there is too much nitrogen in it, Only fert. once a year and only about a hand full
4. You didn't specify how long ago you transplanted, but it is likely that transplant shock caused the fruit to fall off and it may take a year or more to flower again. A balanced npk will help promote growth and fruiting better than straight urea and if you have added them within the last six months, the plant probably doesn't need any more right now.
