My grass is dead my neighbor’s grass is green and long how do I get my grass like my neighbor's?
I water my grass just as much as my neighbor's but mine is short brown and dead. How is it that their grass stays green, long, and alive and mine stays looking bad? What are they doing that I'm not? This was a question I was aksing for a hypothesis assignment. But thanks for trying...LoL

- grass isnt that important!
- Add some fertilizer it may smell for a while but it will be worth it believe me
- I don't mean to sound flip, but maybe you should be asking your neighbor this question...
- that will take you 6-8 months,
- Watering and fertilizing
- the grass is always greener on the other side put some mumbo jumbo chemicals in it! JK
- pour 91 octane gasoline all over it
- Replace your grass or take better care of it.
- buy new grass
- It's easier to destroy their grass than fix yours.
- hahhhah... it's only grass, don't worry about it.
- water it. but not in the afternoon when its hot cuz it will burn ur grass... morning or evening works best
- Are you watering? Once it turns brown like that, especially this late in the season, you pretty much have to wait until next year. Your neighbors might be fertilizing and using pesticides, but they are also definitely watering. If your grass is totally brown and dead, it sounds like you weren't watering.
- Don't worry about your grass. It doesn't really matter that much does it? In other words, don't deplete all the water reservoirs on your side of the country trying to keep up with your neighbors. It's a waste of water, and your time. Who knows what they're doing. Plant some native plants that don't require so much water. They'll be pretty and unique and your neighbor can ogle them.
- Grass IS important. Don't be ashamed my your neighbors beautiful lawn. Go to your local ACE hardware store, buy grass seed, and replant it. If it hasn't gotten greener even when you water it, the it is dead. Just replant it, you'll have new grass and your dignity.
- hire professional landscaping guys to do it...they will charge you but its worth it..and they also give you tips on how to maintain it...its a one time cost...but they realyl get the job done! if you cant afford it, go to home depot..and ask anyone who works there..they will give you exactly what you need..and they will explain you exactly how to do it!!! hope i helped..good luck :) also..try watering at sunset or dawn..its probably brown because of the heat
- put down some fertilizer which is high in nitrogen---look on the sack for 28-3-3--that should do it

- steal your neighbors lawn or pray to the grass god. or, do what we do, and water it weekly along with lots o' love and attention. and consider planting a tree for shade if it's getting burned from the scorching rays of the sun :O
- it will cost you some money but the main things you need are to have fertile soil, get it limed once a year, and lots and lots of water. if your grass is brown now, i'd suggest getting rid of it, throwing down some loam, and either getting it hydro seeded or sod put down. it may not be as perfect as your neighbors right away, but eventually and relatively soon, i'm sure that they'll be jealous of your lawn.
- water your lawn
