Public Comments

  1. Milorganite. It is organic and can help add organic material to your sandy soil.
  2. If yoare looking for a really good lawn then I would pick Pennington pen coated seed or scotts. If you go to scotts.com then you'll see different types of fertilizer.
  3. With sandy soil, you're best course of action is to use organic fertilizers. You can also help your lawn out by top dressing with composted manure. It will add organic matter to your soil and will help it retain water. peat moss helps too, but it can get expensive. Compost is also an excellent choice. When you mow, leave the clippings on the lawn, as this will also slowly add organic matter.
