The Grass Doctor

What's a good lawn fertilizer I can use to keep my lawn looking green?

I have tried Scotts Turfbuilder but I never get any results from it. I have used sulfate ammonia which turns the grass really green in a few days but it doesn't last long.

  1. Scotts Turfbuilder is the best,,,,,,,But you must water it daily
  2. Ammonium Nitrate is what they use on golf courses and ornamental spraying. Buy the type that is water soluable beads and spray your yard with the liquid. Also adding a small percentage of IRON will really green it up. Be careful with the IRON if you miss a spot it won't be as green.
  3. Scotts is a good brand of fertilizer however if you aren't happy with it then try using Bayer fertilizers.
  4. try using organic stuff like chicken crap or dynamic lifter, if you keep mucking around with inorganic's your lawn will become a chemistry lab....
