How do you change urine and feces into fertilizer?

Fertilizers allow farmers all over the world to grow a bigger crop in the same soil year after year. however, they are not cheap to make o buy. Some environmentalists have suggested the use of human waste as a cheap means of making fertilizers. how can human feces be made into fertilizers? how can urine be made into fertilizers? and what are the dangers of using human waste as fertilizer?

2. urine and feces contain nitrates and nitrites which bacteria readily fixate into nitrogen gas, which is a powerful fertilizer. Human waste (or any waste for that matter) often contains harmful bacteria, such as E.coli which can enter waterways from farm areas and harm an entire community.
3. Compost it, just as you compost leaves and garbage. The heat produced during the composting process will kill germs. There are toilets that can be installed in a house that will compost human waste.
