- into the winter? well, here in Idaho its spraying for dandilions one last time in the fall, cleaning up the fallen leaves before it snows
- Get yourself a plow!
- It depends on when and how much it snows where you are. When it doesn't snow or if there isn't a lot of snow on the ground, you can do dormant pruning on deciduous shrubs; tree pruning; mulch work; etc. You can drum up business for the following year and do estimates for maintenance contracts. If you get enough snow where you are, you can do snow removal as long as you can at least break even at it. It goes without saying that Winter is the time to repair and maintain equipment. You can also add to your knowledge of horticulture by attending classes in the Winter while it is a little less busy.
