  1. if your the rightful owner of your dog...she has no right in making you buy a shock collar for the dog, (just by opinion with nothing to do with quiestion) i also suggest you pay her back....buy a powerful water gun and shoot the cat whenever it poops in the yard =] hope you have fun shooting the pooping cat LOL
  2. The next time you see the cat, call Animal Control. This woman should be keeping her pet indoors *anyway,* and if it's on your property, it is fair game and animal control can take it to the pound (where she can bail it out later on.) Don't put a shock collar on your dog just because it's harassing her cat when it is on your property! Good luck.
  3. tell them to buy a shock collar for there cat and guage their response, most likely they will be appalled. Then you got them by the balls.
  4. Its your dog who gives a sh*it what she says!! lol. if she wants your dog to stop barking tell her to get her cat off your property! hope i helped=]
  5. No worries for you or your dog as long as your dog is in your yard. If the barking is non-stop, depending on where you live, you could get a noise complaint. If your yard is well fenced and kitty gets in your yard and becomes doggies supper... too bad for kitty. Sad, but not your problem.
  6. take a picture of her cat on your property and call animal control...the leash laws apply to cats also ....believe it or not if your dog kills her cat in your yard you are not at fault she is for letting the cat roam
  7. Cats don't know property boundaries, but dogs can figure them out. It's not the cat's fault. No, the owner can't force you, but if your dog barks it annoys all the neighbors--can you train your dog not to bark at the cat? That would solve the problem. To stop cats from pooping on the lawn just cut the grass. None of the strays here use the lawn when the grass is less than 3" tall.
