How long should you stay off your lawn after laying fertilizer?

I laid Weed & Feed yesterday The next step is to keep the lawn free and water fully in 3 days. Do I still need to keep the lawn free after that and if I do for how long?

1. Water in 3 days or water within 3 days? I believe it is water within 3 days. Double check your instructions. We lay our weed and feed prior to a rainy day and then after that it is OK to use as usual. So about 24 hours.
