How do I remove the scent of fertilizer from the garage?

I bought some fertilizer for my lawn about a week ago. I finally used it after my wife complained that the horrible stench had permeated the garage. How can I make the garage smell like it did before?

1. Hose the garage out with a ammonia /water solution 1 part ammonia 2 parts water use clear soapy type, use warm water, let it dry, when it drys it should be fertilizer scent free.
2. try sprinkling coffee grounds (fresh from the can...not used) around on the floor...it's one way truck drivers get of bad smells out of their trailer vans.
3. put it in the shed
4. A bag of apples stored in the garage will help so will lemons cut in half.
