The Grass Doctor

what is my plant? it is a small plant i saved from Ikea but it had no label?

it has very thin long leaves and looks a bit like a grass type plant. quite a lot of the leaves have spiralled around. it has thin stalks that have yellow/ gold balls on that as they grow taller open into a flat sort of dry flower that is cream. i have no idea what it is or how to care for it! please help!

  3. it might b a version of a straw flower
  4. I think that you have a Juncus Spiralis, which is a type of rush.Waterloving and will grow either in moist to water-saturated soil or in water up to 3ins (7cm) deep. It will also tolerate poor, acid soils. I have given the link to the Ikea plants on the page of Juncus Spiralis. http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/60058936
  5. Need a picture and where you are located.
