Is it ok to start with step 4 when fertilizing your lawn?

i just aquired my first home and i want to start fixing the established lawn , being that its August already is it ok to start with step 4 or should i just wait till spring and start with step 1 and go on from there. should i think about lime or dont bother just yet? thanks in advance

2. It's perfectly fine. The nitrogen is the most important thing. Isn't step 4 the winterizer?
