What is the best Fertilizer ratio?

For tomatoes and peppers?

2. 5-10-5 works well. Don't over do it or you will burn your plants. Miracle Grow is a safe fertilizer (the liquid). You won't burn your plants with it.
3. My uncle swears by 5-10-5. He cautions that you don't get any on the leaves or it will burn your plants. Just make a small circle around the plants & water as usual.
4. 5-10-5? And where do you get that? Is it organic? who makes it? Personally, I've never heard of that. Now the ratio 1:2:1, yes. And that does happen to be a good ratio for tomatoes. Miracle has a 1:2:1 ratio soluble fertilizer: 15-30-15 It's good to water the solution right over the plants (leaves, etc.)
