How well does grass come back after slighly over feeding it with chemical fertilizer?

is there anything to do? I am using the sprinkler on it, but huge areas are fading. (also this fertilizer had the plus 2 in it by Scotts) Thanks for your answers! btw, I Am in zone 6 b . fading quite a bit actually.

1. omf be careful! it comes back like 5 minutes after.. pretty soon i think your gonna have a jungle.
2. I think it will you said it is fading. it may be the weeds that is fading. (hopefully) but it may come back and faster than you can watch grass grow. he he. good luck on that.
3. it depends on how bad you "overfed" it. If you slightly overfed it it should come back. However if you went off the deep end the grass could die. You are doing what you are able to do by watering it but you will have to wait and see how bad the damage is after all the fertilizer has soaked in.
4. I've often done it over the years, always comes back ok after a short time.
5. I would say keep the water u p to the affected parts, I think that this is the only way you may repair the damage good luck
6. Beware you might get the stronger grasses coming back quickly (ryegrasses) so when your grass regrows reseed with a good ryegrass free lawn seed
