Are there any air filters or masks that can filter pesticides out of the air indoors?

Are there any air filters and / or face masks that can cleanse indoor air, to the extent of even removing toxins and chemicals and producing only clean oxygen? I'm concerned about the lawn pesticides constantly being used around my home penetrating the household and contaminating the indoor air. Neighbors have refused to comply with wishes that they convert to an organic means of lawn care - hence, I need an indoor air filter of some sort capable of sifting out pesticides and others chemicals. Do any air filters with this ability exist? If so, please tell me the names of them. As I live in a coldasack, it isn't just one or two neighbors, but rather four - and they all cherish their right to complacently inundate their lawns with poisons. So, what air filters contain charcoal? Can these be placed in a room, or must they be installed in a house? Is there a possibility of anything malfunctioning and the air filter itself releasing a slew of nasties? And lastly, you're positive that a charcoal containing air filter will neutralize pesticides from the indoor air? After some searching, I found this. http://www.aircaresystems.com/product.asp?Product_Id=17043&d_Id=5256&l1=986&l2=5256 Would the V-bank charcoal module be able to filter out pesticides? It says it's effective against "solvents and other chemicals." Any recommendations for one that is efficient at doing this? Any recommendations for one that is efficient at doing this?

  1. yes, buy one that has a Hepa filter with a negative charge. ASK FOR THIS SPECIFICALLY
  2. If you could find one with charcoal in it that would take everything out. Maybe they spray 2-4-D that really stinks. Not very toxic but I hate to smell that too. Maybe you could get them to use round-up on the weeds that has no smell and will do a great job on all weeds. You have to spot spray roundup however. But round-up would not bother you at all. He maybe spraying the entire yard that is kind of an overkill. I would rather see a few dandelions! Yes, charcoal is used in a pesticide mask with a simple cloth filter before that. You want the activated charcoal filter. You will have very clean air with that and will take out all the pesticides. No charcoal will not hurt you. Even when it is used to clean drinking water. I asked a doctor if the charcoal will hurt you if you drank the black charcoal in the water and he said no. You don't want to drink it all the time though because it will absorb minerals and vitamins from you.
