When Should I Fertilize Cool-Season Grasses?

1. 2/3 of your nitrogen should be applied in the fall..so this is a general guide to amounts ...Nov.=1.5 lbs per 1000sq ft. then May 1 lb , July 3/4 lbs, Sept =1 lb be sure to use slow release in May & July or you'll be mowing twice a week! if you only want to do one or two apps. ..make them in the fall.
2. Do it now!!!! I put down my winterizer stuff last weekend!!!
