The Grass Doctor

What is the best type of grass to plant to have grass annually?

The grass is going in some areas, but the areas that have mostly clay and rocks, the grass is sparse. Should I get top soil to spread and then plant more seeds?

  1. Digging out the clay and removing the rocks and placing topsoil will help. Talk to someone at a local landscape nursery/ flower shop in your area to find out which types of grass seed grow well in your area. Different climates and soil conditions require different varieties of grass seed to be used.
  2. no not really you should have planted st. augasteen it spreads by its self very green catches fast
