I need advice on a lawn care program.?

I live in KY and want to get my lawn in better shape. Right now I have some dandelion, clover, and crabgrass invading my Bluegrass. Can I use weed-n-feed products anytime of the year as often as I want? What other fertilizers/weed killers, etc should I use and when? What brands do you reccomend? I also have a dog so don't want anything that will be harmful to my pet.

1. well i guess you can use the most reccomended weed killer at your local Osh or Home Depot and I guess whatever they recomend... Sorry, but I don't really use weed killer, so I can't really help very well... sorry
2. Following the Scott's program will benefit most of your problems. You may have to go to a local Ag One or other farmer supply to get weed killers to control the clover. I buy most of my fertilizer and chemicals from Tractor supply and Ag One. It would be a good idea to keep dog off grass a few days after treatment for weeds.
