- Drive around with pre-made flyers. Type them up in Word, and print them. Hang them on doors of houses with messy yards. The flyer should give some idea of prices, specials, services, that sort of thing. Give a brief description of yourself (the name of your company, as well as your name) and contact information.
- starting any business: 1. get experience first. 2. don't jump ahead and make a large investment. make sure it's for you. 3. Try building your business on a part-time basis, but don't do it by trying to steal a current employers customers. 4. Do you need equipment? if so, how are you going to getg it? buy? borrow? rent? 5. do you have a business plan? projections? cash flow analysis? how are you going to get customers? are you going to do all the work or are you going to hire people? as you can sell a lot to think about

- WELL,if you get yourself a lawnmower and a pick up truck ,you can start a lawn business, make fliers pass to your neighbor.
- have a business plan. might be better to start as a part time business in order to grow accounts until you can make the transition to full time. look for some small business classes. most important GET INSURANCE!. put a rock through a window without insurance and you just put out what your insurance premium should have cost. hurt/injure someone.....Even worse. also check out www.lawnsite.com or www.lawncafe.com
