what type of liquid fertilizer can I put on fresh soil for planting new grass seed?

3. umm lil early to be laying fertilizer...your best bet is too wait till september and then fertilize and sow seed, you will have good growth by next year and any liquid or dry fert will work
4. Don't use fertilizer on your soil before planting. It'll burn the new grass. Just mix in a little lime and peat moss. You don't want to really fertilize until it's ready to bloom next year
5. I use a product called Ironite. It can be found in most walmarts and k marts etc... -The bottle connects to your garden hose and you simply spray the soil. It has good proportions of iron and nitrogen. Hope this helps
6. Miracle Grow....works on all plants. You can get a hose attachment that dispenses the stuff. Works great.
7. None.Just turn over the soil,spread the seed THICKLY,rake in,apply seed starter,rake in,apply more seed,rake in.Water daily for at least a week if no rain.Be sure to get sunny seed for sunny areas and shade seed for little or no sun.Do not mow the new grass until it is at least a month old.
