- Sprinkle some 12-12-12 along the drip line (outer circle of leaves) and water it. Rainfall will take care of the rest.
- I have one as well. Shortly after I bought it I found out they are NOT houseplants. They require alot of sun, food and water being native to Madagasgar and growing in riverbanks there. I purchased palm fertilizer, threw in some ironite, seaweed solution, and a bit of bat guano in with the organic soil mix and it seems pretty well adjusted and healthy outside getting morning sun until about 1 or 2 in the afternoon. I live in zone 8-9 borderline in Texas. The latest University of Florida recommendation for palms is to use 8-4-12. Palm fertilizer should automatically include 3-4% of both magnesium and manganese. In my opinion Miracle Grow kills plants. That includes Miracle grow soil. Also use only pellet fertilizer as opposed to liquid except fish emulsion, seaweed or any other organic that cant burn plants. http://mgonline.com/majestypalm.html Choosing the correct fertilizer: http://mgonline.com/fertilize.html
