My zoysia grass has brown spots, what should i do to care for it?

It is now summer and my grass looks beautiful, however there are two or three spots that are brown and there are two large areas that looks like hay, what should i do?

1. You might be overwatering or have grub worms. Ask at the local garden supply store - they will know what to do. pull some up and take it in with you - they can tell a lot by looking at the dead grass.
2. Gently peel back a section and look for grubs. Lat it back and stomp down with your foot and maybe water. If its just spots its usually not water or sun but soil or insects and this is insect season and grubs will do this. try it in the Hay looking spots but the invaders may have left. You can pull plugs from somewhere and replug the dead/hay spots as summer is the time to do this water plugs well and fertilize gently.
