low priced fertilizer spreader other than scotts?
anyone know if there are other lower priced fertilizer broadcast spreaders other than scotts? my main reason for asking for low price is that i don't use the fertilizer spreader every day (4x a year).

- Try freecycle.org you may be able to get a free one that's NOT being used... Or see if you can borror a neighbors if it's just going to be for a day or two.... Or buy one from Walmart/Sears they have different brands than SCOTTS
- Go buy a "handheld" broadcast spreader. They are pretty cheap and can be used on smaller yards quite efficiently. Scotts does make this variety along with walk-behind broadcast spreaders... http://www.backyardstyle.com/shop/index.php?page=shop-flypage-19478-2aacbd944fc2d2ff4e6b009088ddb38f&ps_session=c31b65c13e67548a2e66d6683fd86a89 ...$Billy Ray$
- Try a rental store. You don,t have to store it all year or worry that the thing is rusted beyond use next time if you rent one. Every thing is always in first class, usable condition when you need it if you just rent it .
