The Grass Doctor

Can the "Patch Perfect" grass fertilizer be used for other plants as well? For example, a tomato plant?

I saw a commercial for Patch Perfect, which was said to be a grass growing steroid. They even aired a scene of this fertilizer with very healthy grass growing out of it, growing in nothing but the fertilizer itself. I've seen a product like this work pretty much the same, so I know this stuff works. I was just wondering, however, if you could grow other plants out of it as well? For example, a tomato plant?
