i have a scotts rotary fertilizer......its a scotts "standard with an orange rotary dial selector?
i would like to know if i can apply grass seed with it and what would be an approximate dial setting ???

- Yes, you can spread the seed with it. It should say on the seed bag what setting to use for the Scotts spreader. If not, start at 1 or 2, and see how it's spreading. If necessary, set it to a higher setting. It shouldn't take too long for you to figure out what the correct setting is for the seed.
- Yes experiment to see how much is coming out. you always want to seed a little heavy to get a good coverage. So don't be afraid to get seed on thick, is better than to thin. Then cover with what ever for germination.
