- total lot area 40x90=3600 house area 20x30=600 lot-house=3000 packets of seed 3000/250=12 12*1.79= $21.48
- 16,8 boxes
- Area to be covered = area of property - area of house A = length x height A(lot) = 40 x 90 A(lot) = 3600 A(house) = 20 x 30 A(house) = 600 A(grass) = 3600 - 600 A(grass) = 3000 Numbers of boxes = 3000/250 Number of boxes = 12 price of box is unnecessary to answer this question but if your interested, it would cost (1.79)(12) which is $21.48
- Area=length times width Area of lot minus area of house=area that needs grass (40*90)-(20*30) 3600-600 3000 square feet that needs to have grass 1 box=250 square feet So if you have 3000 square feet... 3000/250=12 You need 12 boxes. Which will cost 12*$1.79=$21.48 But you didn't ask how much it would cost.
- okay you would muiltiply 40 by 90 to get the whole lot....then you would subtract the square feet of their house( 20*30) and then you would divide that number by 250 since one box would cover 250 square feet....below is work 40*90=3600 - 20*30=600 +3000 then divide 3000 by 250 so 3000/250 = 12 so 12 boxes total
