The Grass Doctor

About a month ago I put down some Scotts with halts (to stop weeds). But, I have some bare spots in my yard..

The Scotts halts is designed to stop germination for 4 months but I decided I want to reseed the bare spots in my yard with seed instead. It said that the product won't allow this. Do you know if there is any way to deactivate the product or plant grass considering I already put this down by accident.

  1. u have to do as the insructions say sorry u will have to wait the 4 months.
  2. Depending upon what type of grass you have you can probably go to a local nursery and get some squares of sod of the same type grass. You will need to scrape the area off a little bit where you are going to put the sod and wet it good. Cut the sod to fit the area you are going to fill in. Press it down some with your foot to make sure it doesn't have a gap between the roots and the ground. Keep this watered daily or every other day for about a month until the roots take hold.
  3. put topsoil down then seed on top and lightly rake in
