  1. Talk to your gardening expert where you buy your seed. Not all grass types grow well in all sections of the country. There is a new kind out that is suppose to grow on cinderblock. It is used mainly for areas of the lawn that pet urine has killed, it is also very expensive. We always get the bags that have several different kind of grass seed, it seems to grow better. The best time to plant is in the spring or early autumn, because you need to keep your seed moist until it sprouts. If by "stong" you mean it needs to hold up to heavy traffic there again you need to read the bags or talk to the in store expert. There are many grass types for different needs; those that grow better in shade, or poor soil, the turf type needed for football or soccer fields, and so forth. Even with grass you don't get a "one size fits all".
  2. Arukam Grass seed..in INDIA... I dont know wr u live?
  3. The best grass depends on where you live. If you live in the Midwest I'd say go for Kentucky Bluegrass, but here in the Southwest we are better off with Zoysia or Fescue or even bermuda (more drought tolerant grasses). Grass needs a steady supply of water to grow and remain lush. A thick layer of grass will naturally keep out weeds, and an inch-thick layer of thatch will also do the trick, but keep the soil aerated and apply fertilizer before the growing season.
