- lawn mowing equipment and a bunch of mexicans
- to get started you need a lawn mower, next walk around neighborhoods looking for tall grass and knock on doors and ask if they need their yard cut and if they do and agree on your price, word of mouth will take hold, oh and it would help to have some business cards of some kind and it will get passed along just be ready to work
- It will be a lot of hard work. You need the usual yard and lawn mowing tools, A good lawn mower and edger of some kind and some way of getting from job to job. It is better if you have the jobs in clusters. I used to get a lawn and then I would visit very house around offering my services. I would offer discounts to those who joined in an area, as I would not be traveling, I had to push the mower from job to job. Don't under value your or others work. Get more clients by exceeding what it is expected that you will do. people will remember service long after they have forgotten that you charged them a little more than the next person who offered them a price but didn't deliver as well as you.
- Well first of all I would start in the area where you live to try and get customers...Word of mouth is a very good source...So do a good job with the contracts you do get..As far as an investment is concerned...start with the basics..a good lawn mower, weed eater,pruners,...etc. No ups or downs if you do the proper job and your customers are happy...good luck
