What are the things I should be doing to start a lawn mowing buisness?

Other than the obvious things to do, I was wondering if anybody who had experiance in this buisness could give me some advice. I am looking to mow as a part time job - about 8 - 15 lawns per week. And assistance would be great thankyou

2. What you are doing is building the first steps to a "lawn maintenance" business. Youre doing the right thing and building it up small as to not throw away a huge investment. Lawn maintenance can be very lucrative if you can land contracts with factories and other commercial facilities with lots of grass to cut. Flood your area which you intend to serve with business cards cheap black n white flyers posted in corner stores and im sure people will contact you. Just call yourself a law maintenance business to enhance your professional appearance.
